Episode #7: How Body Image, Diet Culture and Fitness Industry Standards Affect Chronic Pain

In this episode, I am going to share my personal experience with being immersed in the world of "dieting" and the "standards" of the fitness industry and how it impacts the way you view your body and pain on all levels. I will be breaking down a lot of conditioned health beliefs that are huge contributing factors to pain intensity.

I will also be sharing how I won first place and $3,000 in a strength training body composition challenge by going against all the conditioned health beliefs told to us from diet culture and the fitness industry. I am going to explain HOW I did it while getting OUT OF PAIN at the same time.

The reason why I am not displaying my pictures publicly is because I don't want to be praised by how my body looks. That leads to body comparison and that can lead to body shaming. I want to share with you my journey and how you can get out of pain and rebuild your relationship with your body and food WITHOUT restricting, depriving, forcing or over-exhausting yourself in the process. This is why I have dedicated an entire episode on this topic.
